Although many of the organized clean up events in the area are cancelled, we can still clean up in our communities while maintaining social distancing. We encourage you to spend 30 minutes every Thursday to beautify your area. Together we can get some fresh air, stay active and Keep Delaware Beautiful!
Here are some ideas:
30 minute litter pick up in your community, area park, wooded area or state park trails
30 minute litter pick up in your city block, along the streets in your neighborhood
30 minute pick up of an illegal dumping area, back road or abandoned property near you
30 minutes of trimming, cutting or weeding an overgrown property near you (get permission)
30 minutes of planting flowers or trees in your neighborhood or city
